Event format.

  • Max of 32 couples or players for each category.

  • Group stage by draw (with ranking from the 2nd event onwards).

  • The top 2 from each group advance to the Gold bracket; the rest go to the Silver bracket.

  • Knockout rounds starting from the Round of 16, with a match for 3rd place.

  • Singles on Friday; doubles on Saturday in different time slots.

Goal:

  • Raising awareness of Pickleball in Spain
  • Paving the way for amateur tournaments in Spain.
  • Launching the first national circuit.

Madrid Pickleball Series 2025 Kicks Off Successfully at CD Somontes

The Pickleball Madrid Pickleball Series: Somontes and Wild Pickleball kicked off spectacularly. The first event of the Madrid Pickleball Series 2025 circuit at CD Somontes was a resounding success, bringing together over 70 players on May 23rd and 24th. This inaugural event featured high-level pickleball on the club’s 8 professional courts, with competitions in singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. Beyond the play itself, the tournament stood out for its vibrant atmosphere, solidifying the growth of the pickleball community in Madrid.

For Wild, this marked the beginning of a movement we’re now a part of. It was the moment national pickleball in Spain started to become professionalized.
